Good quality at an affordable price.

Say "YES" to good
prices and quality

Good quality yet unique brands for great prices enables us to both increase customer loyalty and be another reason for customers to join us.
Hence the development of a portfolio of unique private labels across entry level and mid-range categories to offer a full choice of well-priced products to our customers.
Even today, people still don't realise that they can pay less for good food. Because we are passionate about customer care, we decided to create our own new standard, where customers can find brands that deliver on this promise.
Private label range
Customers can find the following private labels: Moddia for paper hygiene category, Pappudia for snacks, convenience products and spreads, Dacello for processed meat, followed by Fjoru for freshwater fish and seafood, Miil for dairy products, Ubomi for coffee, Sutcha for beef steaks and Yutto for nuts. Other private labels will soon follow.

Tissue and paper hygiene products are used in every household. Moddia products are soft, yet strong and also mindful of nature - from toilet paper and kitchen towels to tissues.
Moddia is our Rebel classic. Let's not beat around the bush - these products are soft, strong, sustainable and yet funky.
In addition to “rebellion”, Rohlik emphasizes environmental protection, and this was doubly true when creating the Moddia brand, with a focus on sustainability.
- FSC certification
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international non-profit, multistakeholder organization established in 1993 promoting responsible management of the world's forests. It is an example of a market-based certification program used as a transnational environmental policy. FSC certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits. FSC Principles and Criteria provide a foundation for all forest management standards globally.

Whether customers buy a product with a pig, cow or dancing turkey on the packaging, they simply know that it’s a sure bet.
The delicatessen market for packaged ham, salami, sausage and bacon has grown in recent years, driven by a consumer shift from the traditional model of three meals per day towards snacking or multiple small meals throughout the day.
Customers can look forward to not only proven classics, but also local specialties, be they Black Forest ham, traditional Prague ham or traditional Hungarian salami… in short there will be something for everyone.
When creating the Dacello brand, we set ourselves the goal of launching products that are tasty, good quality and for a great price.
- PGI certification
Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) is used to designate goods originating in a given territory (region, place or, in exceptional cases, country), if those goods have a certain quality, reputation or other characteristics attributable to that geographical origin and if the production or processing or preparation of such goods takes place in the defined territory. In the case of a geographical indication, it is possible for only some stage of the production (farming, manufacture, processing or preparation) of the food or agricultural product to take place in the defined territory.

Life is getting faster and people want to be able to eat anything, anytime, anywhere.
Pappudia follows this comfort trend. This private label is for everyone for whom time and taste are important.
A great example are our new Pappudia spreads are absolutely cage-free spreads. Be it the 3 types of hummus with extra virgin oil only or our other 6 spreads - any eggs used in them (and yes, that means even the yolk in mayonnaise) are cage-free!
As Rohlik Group is all about food, we want to deliver products that we are not ashamed of. Or rather - we want to shout out to the world that we love them! And that's what Pappudia is all about - products that are honest in every way. We’re talking cookies, desserts, sandwiches, diced fruit, sliced potatoes and more.
- RFA certification
The Rainforest Alliance certification seal means that the product (or a specified ingredient) was produced by farmers, foresters, and/or companies working together to create a world where people and nature thrive in harmony.

Fjoru are simply the best fish!
You don't have to travel thousands of kilometres for quality fish and seafood, we catch them for you. Our suppliers are partners we trust with products that are excellent.
Certified, the best cuts and under strict quality control, it can take as little as 48 hours from capture for our selection of freshwater and saltwater fish to not only be transported, but prepared and delivered to customer doors.
Fjoru is simply the best fisherman in your city.
Rohlik enables customers to buy sustainable fish online. Customers have one of the widest ranges of ASC and MSC certified fish together with the widest range of BIO certified fish, all of which are easily available in one place.
- MSC certification
By choosing seafood with the MSC blue fish label, Rohlik’s customers help protect the oceans, people’s livelihoods and our fish for the future. The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is an international non-profit organisation; the worldwide certification of sustainable fisheries, MSC, provides a guarantee for the natural population of marine animals to be preserved without endangering them; thus respecting the amount of fishing according to known regulations. This certification ensures that fishing is done without causing damage to marine ecosystems.
- ASC certification
When you buy ASC certified seafood you are rewarding responsible farmers and increasing the demand for responsibly farmed fish. ASC certification ensures that strict requirements are met to minimise the environmental impact of aquaculture while also respecting workers’ rights and the local community.
The ASC label only appears on food from farms that have been independently assessed and certified as being environmentally and socially responsible, so you can be sure that by choosing seafood bearing our logo you’re contributing to a better future for all. - EU BIO certification
The European Union organic logo gives a coherent visual identity to organic products produced in the EU. This makes it easier for consumers to identify organic products and helps farmers to market them across the entire EU.
The organic logo can only be used on products that have been certified as organic by an authorised control agency or body. This means that they have fulfilled strict conditions on how they must be produced, processed, transported and stored. The logo can only be used on products when they contain at least 95% organic ingredients and additionally, respect further strict conditions for the remaining 5%. The same ingredient cannot be present in organic and non-organic form.
Next to the EU organic logo, a code number of the control body must be displayed as well as the place where the agricultural raw materials composing the product have been farmed.
- BIO certification
The Czech "BIO zebra" is a national trademark for organic food. This national logo is used to label organic products and the certificate is issued by independent inspection organisations. Certification is only granted if the product complies with all the provisions of the Organic Farming Act.
Any producer who produces products that originate from organic farming and wants them to carry the organic label must sign a contract with one of the control organisations and submit to their rules, regulations and regular and irregular inspections. The certificate is granted for one year and can be withdrawn at any time in case of non-compliance.
During inspections, focus is mainly on the environment in which the livestock live, what they are fed and whether they are neglected in any way. For crops, the place and method of storage and the presence of unauthorised substances or toxic pesticides are checked. An important part of certification is also the checking of administration and accounting.
- Label Rouge certification
Label Rouge is a French national designation for products which through their farming, production or manufacturing have a higher level of quality compared to other similar products. Quality, in this case, refers to all the properties and characteristics of a product that give it its ability to satisfy explicit or implicit needs.
Scottish salmon was the first product outside of France to be awarded the prestigious Label Rouge label in 1992. To qualify for this label, farming conditions and farmed products must be of the highest quality.

Miil offers a wide portfolio of dairy products
Including all kinds of cheese (blocks, slices, camembert, feta, blue cheese); BIO products, white and fruit yoghurts, sour cream and milk.
Dairy products include both semi-skimmed milk and whole milk variants with a higher fat content, delivered in a package which, thanks to the possibility of removing the upper plastic part from the box, facilitates subsequent recycling.
Congratulations to our private label team and agency on a great 2nd place in the World Brand Design Society Awards 2021/22. And the taste of Miil products more than matches their design!

Rohlik Group introduces UBOMI, with the first-ever home compostable coffee capsules!
The word UBOMI embodies life and the packaging design with tribal masks serves to remind us of the origins of coffee in general. Customers can also try different blends of coffee beans.
UBOMI capsules are made of a natural material derived from 100% biobased cellulose and vegetable oils. They are sourced from partner Capsul-in-Pro and are the first ever capsule on the market which is TUV certified OK Home Compost, enabling home composting.
Our customers can add these capsules to their garden compost without any worries about negative impact.
Importantly, the coffee in our Ubomi capsules is Rainforest Alliance certified - by purchasing this product, customers also support the Rainforest Alliance and help to promote environmentally friendly and fair agriculture.
- RFA certification
The Rainforest Alliance certification seal means that the product (or a specified ingredient) was produced by farmers, foresters, and/or companies working together to create a world where people and nature thrive in harmony.
- OK Compost Home certification
Owing to the comparatively smaller volume of waste involved, the temperature in a garden compost heap is clearly lower and less constant than in an industrial composting environment. This is why composting in the garden is a more difficult, slower-paced process.
TÜV AUSTRIA’s innovative answer to this challenge was to develop OK compost HOME to guarantee complete biodegradability even in the light of such a specific environment as exists in a garden compost heap. - OK biobased certification
As a result of increased environmental awareness among customers, there is a growing market for products on the basis of renewable raw materials. And that environmentally conscious motivation on the part of customers is exactly the reason why there is a need for an independent, high-quality guarantee of the renewability of raw materials. The “OK biobased” certification meets that need perfectly.
In contrast to LCA (Life Cycle Assessment), the investigative method behind the OK biobased certification is very simple and the exact value can be precisely and scientifically measured and calculated. This renders checks and re-checks very transparent and also allows “apples to be compared with apples” with the greatest ease.
On a basis of the determined percentage of renewable raw materials (% Bio-based), your product can be certified as one-star-bio-based, two-star-bio-based, three-star-bio-based or four-star-bio-based.

Rohlik Group introduces SUTCHA, a new private label for beef steaks
Rohlik is launching its latest private label offering - “SUTCHA” for beef steaks - with its own direct sourcing from EU importers, with all products traceable to a concrete farm or animal. The brand will be available in each market where Rohlik Group is active.
The product range is truly international, with meat from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada and USA. Breeds being sourced include Angus, Hereford and Wagyu, which are grass or grain fed, delivered in single portion or family pack vacuum packaging.
- Non-traditional cuts
Cuts of meat one cannot usually find on the retail market, such as flat iron, chuck tender, flank, eye of round. Beef steak comes in a wide variety of different cuts, tenderness, flavors, required cooking methods, and price points. It is crucial that the right cut of meat is selected for the right purpose. As a rule of thumb, the more marbling (or fat), the better suited it is for grilling or pan frying. Very lean cuts usually require a slower cooking approach - the best way to ensure a juicy cut is to slow-cook it in a slow cooker, oven, smoker, or pot with for example vegetables adding necessary extra moisture.
- Beef wet-aged for 60+ days
Aging beef is part science and part art and its point is very simple - to enhance the premium steak experience! There are two types of aging: Wet Aging and Dry Aging. Whilst they are very different processes, both are effective and both deliver positive results. Sutcha steaks are wet-aged and over time, the meat will tenderize significantly and develop a more complex flavor. Wet-aging steak tastes great in a lean cut of beef like a flat-iron steak, where the steak is less marbled with fat. Beef cut for dry aging starts out much thicker than wet aged meat but will lose considerable mass during the aging process. In the end, they both produce an excellent tender and juicy steak.
- Year-round chilled availability
A lot of retailers offer specialty meat only on an adhoc basis. However, SUTCHA offers its wide meat selection all year round. Chilled meat is better for consumers, as it is vacuum packed to preserve the product against microbial deterioration and spoilage and also to control food-borne pathogens. It also ensures that the meat remains fresher, longer.
- Traceable origin and quality
Own direct sourcing from primal EU importers, traceable to the farm or animal. Traceability tells the story of beef to the end consumers. It maps the journey of beef from the store, throughout processing, right back to the original animals on the farm. Customers thus can be assured that Rohlik Group has accurate information on where their beef comes from.

Good food. A better
world. At a great price.
Customers can recognise Rohlik's private labels by its tick icon and uniform typography.

Opportunity for
producers
Our private brands are a huge opportunity for producers as well - we are opening up European markets for them via our private labels.
A concrete example: perhaps for the first time in history, ham is not only being imported from Germany to the Czech Republic. Our private label Dacello, which is produced by Le&Co, is sold in all markets where we currently operate.
